Your child will learn all the basics of horsecare and horsemanship in an hour & 15 minute, once weekly class. 2 children per pony and instructor, taking turns.
Intermediate Group Lessons-
4-5 children riding together, no waiting, one full hour. Responsible for tacking up with supervision.
Your child will learn horse anatomy, as well as mounting, dismounting, walking, trotting, reining, posting, and applying aids. Your child will participate in official pony club mounted games. Intermediate groups progress to cantering and learn group riding etiquette and safety.
Individual Lessons -
1/2 hour intensive with one pony and private instruction
Children can refine their skills with intensive private instruction in beginner, intermediate and advanced horsemanship. Thirty or 60 minute classes can be scheduled once or twice weekly.
